Our Foundation was founded in 1995 and serves to connect philanthropic gifts designated to support Bert Fish Medical Center. These gifts are used by the hospital to supplement the delivery of quality and convenient healthcare and ensure the health and well-being of our community.
The Bert Fish Medical Center Foundation is led by a board comprised of community leaders who share a vision for creating a Culture of Philanthropy. These endeavors provide long-term benefits to patients who choose Bert Fish Medical Center for their care.
Caring people have designated gifts from their estates, their bank accounts and their community foundations. But all the giving has been from the heart.
Whatever your interest; the very latest equipment, technology, clinical training, patient care or decorations, we are greatly appreciative of the donations we receive from friends and benefactors. Our team of professionals are good stewards of these gifts.
Patients at Bert Fish have benefited from the kindness of some very generous donors. Most recently, foundation gifts initiated new healthcare services, provided endowments for nursing students and helped purchase a state-of-the-art bed for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for our patients who are in their most critical conditions.
The end result of this philanthropic effort is that our neighbors do not have to leave their community to receive treatment from other healthcare sources. They remain close to their home and family for high-quality treatment of most healthcare needs. This benefit greatly enhances the quality of life for all.
